GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
M-PA-THI is an engaging method designed to help players achieve their goals by stimulating both creative and oppositional thinking.
COMPONENTS
The game includes 3 pieces: 'MISSION' (1), 'TRUTH' (8), and 'BLACK PYRAMID' (8). A perspex strip can be placed on the back side of each piece. Additionally, a pack of A6 papers is provided for players to document their steps.
GETTING STARTED
Set your objective or mission, writing it on an A4 paper and affixing it to the 'MISSION' piece at the end of the game board.
Determine who will play as the creators and who will side with 'THE SYSTEM.' For group play, bystanders can offer commentary while adhering to set boundaries.
Players take turns placing a game piece on the board along with a written step on a corresponding paper. Keep step descriptions concise and clear.
GAMEPLAY
Players have three levels of steps to choose from: Legal, Civil Disobedient, or Illegal. Each step is marked with a designated color: Green for Legal, Orange for Civil Disobedient, and Red for Illegal. 'THE SYSTEM' can employ a False Flag (Red) or Controlled Opposition (Orange).
During gameplay, bystanders can provide suggestions or criticism regarding the realism of moves made. If a series of moves leads to a dead end, steps can be revoked, and a different direction can be pursued.
DURATION
M-PA-THI can be played indefinitely or within a specified timeframe to achieve the mission. Additional missions may arise during gameplay.
ENDGAME
The game concludes when the mission or goals are accomplished.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
M-PA-THI becomes more compelling with repeated play, fostering enhanced strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
MISSION
M-PA-THI is intended to inspire real-world action, encouraging players to be proactive rather than passive observers.
